How to Format a Memory Stick for PSP

1. At the bottom left corner of the PSP there is a "Home" button. Press it to get to the start screen.
2. Now use the left arrow key (press it several times), to get to the "Settings" column.
3. Next, you must go to "System Settings" - so press the down arrow until that icon is selected. To open the settings, push the "X" button once.
4. Select "Format Memory Stick" by pushing the down key a few times. When it's selected, push the "X" button.
5. Now you'll see a confirmation screen asking you if you really want to format the memory stick. Select "Yes" and push the "X" button. Then wait about 10 seconds until the formatting is complete.

Your memory stick is now properly formatted for the PSP.
